Marc Thiessen states that if the polls are overstating Democrat support, Republicans would wing several swing states that are currently within the margin of error:

MARC THIESSEN: I feel about these midterms the way Marine General Chesty Puller felt about the Korean war. He said we're surround. That simplifies the problem, we can fire in all directions. That's where the Republicans are right now. They have superior fire power because Elon Musk is pouring hundreds of millions of dollars in and they already had a hundred billion dollar advantage in the party committees. Trump is fighting in red states which is a bad thing that all the swing states are red, but it's a good thing because it means in those state majorities have pulled the lever for Donald Trump before so if he goes he can pull out the vote. And if you think about it in all the eight senate races that are swing races right now, they are all within the margin of error. Every one of them are within two to three points. In the 2024 election, the polls overstated Democratic support by 2 to 3 points. If the polls are similar in this election, Republicans win every one of those races except Ohio right now.

So this is not over yet. Republicans are surrounded they are firing in all directions but the fight isn't over and Chesty Puller won the Korean war.
