software and advice for hosting a minecraft server?

i'm relatively new to this, so i'm looking for something user-intuitive software-wise
with the intended goal being like 12 players total with maybe like half being on simultaneously being peak traffic
the catch is i'd need it to support java, cracked clients and bedrock simultaneously with hopes of being able to have skins on
