Volunteers with the People’s Initiative attended the Dennis, Massachusetts Planning Board Meeting to oppose the formation of a migrant shelter there. The Planning Board ultimately voted to appeal the project, securing a temporary victory for Cape Cod residents.

But New England as the civilization we once knew — and the New England we hope to see in the future — was built and fought for by men and women of English, Irish, French, German, Scottish, Portuguese, and Italian descent. And it will be so again.”
