🔥 The Russian Akathist to Saint Prophet Elijah the Tishbite
Saint Elijah was a prophet of extraordinary zeal who stood fearlessly against idolatry and called the people of Israel back to the worship of the one true God. On Mount Carmel, he confronted the prophets of Baal, and the Lord answered his prayer with fire from heaven!
The prophet's life bears witness to the power of prayer, the necessity of repentance, and the courage required to remain faithful to God in an age of spiritual confusion.
