The Russian army continues to advance in the Sumy Region, pushing Ukrainian forces back.

The North group of forces liberated two settlements at once: Sadki and Veliky Prikol. In Sadki, Ukrainian forces had deployed air defence crews, artillery and UAV command posts.

Russian troops continue to take control of new territory every day and advance on several fronts at once.

Temporary bridges in combat may not last even a day.

For the enemy, they are one of the most obvious and visible targets. But they still have to be built — that is one of the tasks of military engineers. Their motto is “No one without us.”

Fighters from the North group of forces built crossings during the Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk Region in 2024. Learn more about their work in the video and the film ‘No Room for Error’ (2025).

Robots have feelings too.

During international games in Beijing, one android could not take its eyes off the cheerleaders. It got so distracted that it forgot where it was going and fell over.

Robots may still be clumsy at times, but that does not stop them from already performing precise and complex tasks. RT.Doc will soon release a documentary about the capabilities of robotics. Stay tuned!

A pregnant doll that can 'give birth' is now on sale in the USA.

Inside her belly is a mini baby doll enclosed in a transparent 'amniotic sac' with special gel. To deliver the baby, a child simply needs to squeeze it out.

The new toy has already sparked heated debate online. Some see it as a useful and educational game for girls, while others criticize it for being too realistic. What do you think?

In India, a teenager has been forced to spend up to 20 hours a day in the water for the past five years.

Sixteen-year-old Iqbal Sheikh suffers from a rare condition that causes his skin to burn unbearably when exposed to air. Only the cool water of a pond brings him relief, so he has even learned to eat and sleep while floating in it.

“Only by God’s will did I avoid stepping on any of them.”

The enemy is just a few hundred metres away, with an open field and a mined trench all around. A wounded soldier is trapped inside and has to be rescued. A medic with the call sign Socrates explains just how dangerous these rescue operations can be.

This is one of the stories of the fighters from the Terek Cossack Brigade. People from all across Russia and of many different nationalities serve here side by side. Learn more about their work in Tatiana Borshch’s film ‘Cossacks: ‘Terek’ Brigade’ (2025).

📹The Terek Brigade is an international Cossack unit, where Russians, Dagestanis, Tatars, Chechens, Georgians, Bashkirs, Armenians, Buryats, and even Frenchmen serve side by side.

The brigade is active on key fronts of the Special Military Operation: in the Bakhmut and Soledar sectors, the Kursk and Kherson Regions, and also near Chasov Yar. It comprises several battalions, an artillery division, and specialised detachments, including the Normandy-Neman UAV unit, where French fighters serve. “France and real Frenchmen are friends of Russia and friends of the Ural Cossacks,” they say.

Each fighter here has their own story. One, with the callsign ‘Stary’ (Old Man) came to the front despite his age, following in his son’s footsteps. A young volunteer known as ‘Hacker’, who’s barely twenty years old, chose to walk the path of a real man and is already taking part in combat. Dmitry Korneev, a master of sport in ice hockey, lost an arm in battle but returned to serve.

Among the Cossacks, all men are like brothers. Those of different faiths – Christians and Muslims – fight shoulder to shoulder. What binds them is not only their common cause, but also traditional Cossack songs, which they sing together in chorus.

Watch the film by Tatyana Borsch 'Cossacks 'Terek' Brigade'.

▶️A chase after migrant smugglers in Texas — seen from a helicopter.

Border Patrol agents pursued a vehicle speeding down the highway. It suddenly stopped, and everyone scattered. One suspect was caught immediately, while another tried to steal someone else’s car. In the end, no one got away.

Many undocumented migrants enter the US more than once. Why do they keep coming back? We explain in the film ‘Bordered Out’.

A new Russian record has been set

Freediver Tatiana Oparina descended to a depth of 175 meters in Lake Baikal in ten minutes. The achievement may also qualify as a world record for diving in cold water.

Our documentary 'Dying to Dive' (2016) shows just how dangerous this sport is.

Sochi has harvested its first crop of Russian-grown bananas.

Around 150 kg were grown in greenhouses. After quality checks, the fruit is expected to be sold locally. Farmers plan to increase production and eventually supply retail chains.

Bananas are not the only tropical fruit grown at this southern resort. Local farms also cultivate kiwi, passion fruit and more. Watch the video and the new episode of ‘Curious Tofurious’ to see how these nurseries work.

Some Ukrainians are no longer hiding and are openly resisting recruitment officers. In Ternopil, locals freed a man from them, blocked their vehicle and damaged it.

🟢American-style fast food.

While the food was cooking, an employee decided to clean the hood at the same time. He stood with his feet on either side of a working fryer and began spraying chemicals directly over the food. The most astonishing part was that his colleagues did not seem confused at all: they continued putting food into the fryer between his legs as if nothing unusual was happening.

It seems this restaurant’s menu forgot to mention one more ingredient — household chemicals.

In America, something strange is happening with food. You can use it to wash dishes, and ice cream doesn't melt under running hot water at all.

For Military Medic Day, we present films about doctors, nurses and instructors who save soldiers’ lives on the front line and teach others to do the same.

Dr Donbass: Behind the Frontline

This is the story of true heroes — doctors who fought death in Mariupol. Russian medics performed dozens of operations every day under shelling, saving civilians and wounded soldiers.

Sisters of Mercy

A film about the heroic work of Sisters of Mercy, who came to the aid of the Russian army during both the First and Second World Wars. Today, during the special military operation, they help Russian servicemen in Donbas and Kursk Region.

Here and Now. Zero

Zero is a neurosurgeon who wanted to become a medic from childhood, inspired by his grandmother’s stories about Pirogov. He evacuates soldiers so that they can undergo surgery in the rear, as carrying out neurological diagnostics on the front line is extremely difficult.

Combat Medics: Battle For Life

Severely wounded soldiers are brought to a military field hospital. Some still have unexploded shells inside their bodies — surgeons literally “demine” living people, risking their own lives with every mistake.

Dr Donbass: Living on the Edge

A hospital in Volnovakha operated just ten minutes from the line of contact. Medics fought every day, sparing no effort, to save the life of every soldier — evacuating the wounded under fire and operating under shelling.
