🇨🇦 911 goes down, but the regime still wants more strain

Canada managed the magic trick of becoming a G7 country where even 911 can intermittently fail across Toronto, Ottawa, London, Waterloo, parts of Quebec and beyond, as reported. Calls could even be routed to police services elsewhere in the country. That is not resilience. That is third-rate infrastructure wearing first-world branding.

This is the Trudeau-era formula in one neat little fiasco: flood the system, underbuild capacity, centralize everything, then act shocked when critical services wobble. Governments lecture Canadians about digital transformation, equity metrics and climate virtue, but keeping emergency lines working seems a bit too nationalist and practical for the managerial class. A sovereign country that cannot guarantee basic emergency communications is not being modernized, it is being hollowed out. While the political class obsesses over global applause and imported population growth, the public gets congestion, fragility and excuses. Canada is being taught to accept managed decline as normal.
