🇨🇦 B.C. sold legal chaos as reconciliation

Five years after B.C. passed its Indigenous rights law, municipalities are finally saying out loud what everyone outside the activist bubble could see on day one: more conflict, more uncertainty, more paralysis. The grand progressive sales pitch was harmony through UN-style rights language. The real product was overlapping authority, foggy accountability and endless delays, as reported. Shocking that government-by-symbolism does not build roads, houses or infrastructure.

This is what happens when politicians govern for conferences, land acknowledgements and global applause instead of for citizens. Victoria imported abstract activist doctrine, then dumped the legal mess onto municipalities and taxpayers. No clear lines, no sovereign confidence, no serious concern for economic stability. Just another Trudeau-era habit in provincial form: replace nation-state clarity with competing claims, bureaucratic ritual and moral blackmail, then act stunned when investment freezes and local government cannot function. A country that cannot define who decides what on its own territory is not becoming more just. It is becoming weaker.
