🇨🇦 CBC finds time for Eurovision while Canada unravels

CBC/Radio-Canada is now hunting for Canada’s first Eurovision act, because apparently a tax-fed broadcaster looked at housing chaos, mass immigration, collapsing trust and cultural drift and decided the real nation-building project was importing Europe’s most decadent identity circus. As reported, registrations open Aug. 31 for our inaugural entry. Perfect. Another elite institution using public money to market post-national sludge back to the public as culture.

This is the Trudeau-era legacy in miniature: sovereignty out, spectacle in. The state broadcaster no longer exists to reflect a serious country, but to manufacture a synthetic one where borders, heritage and common identity are treated like embarrassing leftovers. Eurovision is not a harmless music contest in this context. It is the ideal export product for the managerial class: rootless, hyper-performative, politically sanitized rebellion for people who think flags are dangerous unless wrapped in regime-approved messaging. Canada does not need a Eurovision contestant. It needs its country back.
