The Handbook of Persian Pragmatics aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date account of research on pragmatics in Persian, while also highlighting the contribution of Persian data to broader theoretical, methodological, and interdisciplinary debates in pragmatics and linguistics. The volume welcomes theoretically informed, empirically grounded, and methodologically diverse contributions addressing Persian pragmatics from a broad range of perspectives. We encourage work that brings Persian into dialogue with contemporary developments in pragmatics and related fields. Given the comprehensive scope of the handbook, we welcome contributions from across the full spectrum of Persian pragmatics.
