The Congressional Research Service (CRS) says 81 U.S. aircraft have been reported lost or damaged in the Iran war since February 28th, in a report updated October 5th. CRS built the list from news reports, Pentagon and U.S Central Command (CENTCOM) statements, and the Pentagon inspector general, and says it may change. Some damaged aircraft have since been returned to service.
