The IRGC has said that southernly maritime routes transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz will be blocked by the IRGC soon. The statement was made through Iran’s state-backed news agency Fars today. The transit scheme, where smaller vessels transit through the archipelagic southern routes and transfer oil to larger tankers will be shut down, likely by Iranian strikes, per reporting by Fars.
