๐ Tehran, IRNA โ Iran and Iraq have the potential to expand cooperation in education, Education Minister Alireza Kazemi said on Monday during a meeting with Iraqi Ambassador to Tehran Yasser Abdul Zahra Al-Hajjaj.
Kazemi said cooperation between the two countries had grown in recent years and called for a review of existing capacities to further develop educational activities.

He referred to Iranian schools and educational centers operating in Iraq, including in Karbala, Najaf and Sulaymaniyah, and stressed the need to explore ways to expand their activities.

Al-Hajjaj said Baghdad was ready to cooperate in expanding the activities of Iranian schools in Iraq and addressing their needs.

There are abundant capacities for increasing cooperation between the two countries, the ambassador said, adding that these capacities should be used to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation.
