📰 Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reports that iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, powered by Apple Intelligence and designed to process images directly on-device, is expected this fall and will introduce four features under a new Apple Intelligence Tools section:
• Extend – expands the background beyond the edges of the frame
• Enhance – automatically improves color and lighting
• Reframe – changes perspective in 3D photos
• Clean Up – removes unwanted objects
🥴 However, development hasn’t been smooth. Internal tests show instability, and the existing Clean Up feature 🩹 has already faced criticism for visual distortions. Apple is currently trailing competitors like Google and Samsung in rolling out AI features and is now pushing to close the gap. A delay in release is possible due to ongoing technical challenges.
