📰 Former Apple chief designer Jony Ive is working on the design of OpenAI’s “physical AI”

💭 OpenAI’s Director of Global Policy, Chris Lehane, has officially confirmed the company’s plans: its first device will be released before the end of this year. The executive did not disclose the exact specifications of the gadget.

🤖 Insiders report that it will be a screenless device fully controlled by voice. Among the main candidates for release are a smart “pin” (a camera badge that attaches to clothing) or an in-ear earbud with ChatGPT integrated.
