📰 A week ago, Apple released macOS Tahoe 26.2 Beta 2 for developers — and it includes a new feature called Edge Light. The feature creates a glowing white border around the display, turning the screen into an improvised ring light. It helps when you’re poorly lit on video calls — especially in a dark room.
• The lighting adjusts to your face position using the Apple Neural Engine
• Adjustable color temperature: cool, neutral, warm
• Auto-activation in low-light conditions on Macs with Apple Silicon
• Subtle border: hides when your cursor approaches the screen’s edge
• Works in FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, and other apps
📆 The public release of macOS Tahoe 26.2 is expected in December.
