The US and Israel have already been at war with Iran for over six months. The focus has shifted from prevention to damage management and post-war strategies.

The secret meeting in Germany, organized by CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper, brought together military chiefs from Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt. The US assured Gulf countries that its forces would remain in the region. CENTCOM detailed plans to reopen tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, though previous attempts had failed.

Israel offered to help defend Saudi interests against the Houthis, but Riyadh accepted only intelligence support, rejecting direct military intervention. Meanwhile, US weapons flows to the region reached historic levels, with the Trump administration bypassing congressional review to expedite shipments, including 40,000 one-ton bombs and JDAM kits to Israel.
