Our IR specialists are spending their days at the heart of decision-making — in places where policies are debated, ideas collide, and the contours of international affairs take shape.
🔵A Candid Conversation with Dmitri Trenin
A standout moment was an open-mic session with Dmitri Trenin, Academic Supervisor of the Institute of World Military Economy and Strategy at HSE University. Fellows discussed the role of the nation-state in today’s Russian foreign policy, the shifting centers of power, and how former adversaries can turn into strategic partners.
🔵Russian International Affairs Council
Here, the young specialists delved into the intersection of research and diplomacy, observing how RIAC develops analytical materials, builds expert networks, and fosters public dialogue on global challenges.
🔵Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology
At Skoltech, the group toured advanced labs, watched ideas evolve from concept to prototype, and met researchers at the cutting edge of engineering, data, and emerging technologies.
🔵Russia Today
The fellows went behind the scenes to see how international news is produced and discussed the media’s role in shaping global narratives.
The academic module is complete, but the most important part is ahead: today our IR specialists are defending their projects🔚
