"Regarding the treatment of the Polish question, the following applies: Detailed reports on the treatment of the Poles by the German occupation authorities are undesirable. All reports must stand under the leitmotif: Establishment of order, elimination of the chaotic state of affairs that the Polish state had brought about in all areas. It must be made clear to even the very last dairymaid [Kuhmagd] in Germany that Polishness is equivalent to subhumanity. [Untermenschentum] Poles, Jews, and Gypsies stand on the same inferior human level.

​If this tenor is abandoned by the German press and a principle of tolerance toward Polishness arises, then within a few years we would bring about a racial infiltration of Germany by Polishness, which would be extraordinarily dangerous for Germandom. It is now not appropriate to compose profound observations and leading articles about the lack of culture in Poland and the Polish subhumanity. [Untermenschentum] Rather, this tenor should always sound only like a leitmotif and occasionally appear in fixed terms, such as "Polish economy" [mismanagement], "Polish degeneracy," and the like, until everyone in Germany whether a gullible farmworker or an intellectual already views every Pole in their subconscious as vermin [Ungeziefer]. ​This directive is explicitly given via the Propaganda Ministry to all newspapers."

"The racial difference has led to the formation of three major Volk groups in the European area: the Germanic, the Romance, and the Slavic language family (although the designation Germanic, Romance, and Slavic is primarily a linguistic concept and by no means covers the racial composition of the Volk). The racial composition of the Volk is guided by the racial basic stock, and this language circle is often strongly influenced by the racial admixture of its respective neighboring Volk. The Germanic Volk is characterized by a predominantly Nordic blood. In their relationship to the German Volk, we therefore designate the Scandinavian Volk as "stammesgleich" (of the same tribal origin), the Romance and the Slavic Volk as "stammesfremd" (of foreign tribal origin), because they possess a smaller proportion of Nordic blood and their racial core is not Nordic."

On March 26th 1942, the Führer received Lieutenant-General Hube, Colonel Traut, two majors, and Lieutenant Ströhlow for the delivery of the Oak Leaves.

On this occasion, the Führer gave a speech about the reconstruction of the East and said verbatim:

"I know how far I have to go, but in return the entire East will become Germanic, PROTO-GERMANIC." This message is from a primary source and is reliable. (And in a very affectionate tone): "For now, we don't need to think about it, and I won't talk about it. I have entrusted this to my Himmler, and he will take care of it."

"The office of the SS Race and Settlement Main Office, integrated into the central office of the Chief of the Security Police and the SD, was tasked with the racial examination of returnees aged 6 and older. Similar to the initial examination for admission to the SS, the classification into different groups took place, with Group I being broadly defined as above average for the German people, Group II as average, Group III as below average, and Group IV as unsuitable for deployment in the new eastern territories of the Reich."

The criteria for classification into the four racial rating groups at the Immigration Central Office:

"𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈: Purely Nordic or purely Westphalian persons who are also of first-class genetic health and performance.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈: Predominantly Nordic or Westphalian, with a slight Dinaric or Western influence. Furthermore, harmonious mixtures between Nordic and Westphalian with Dinaric and Western. Finally, Dinarics who are not too foreign to the German sense of identity.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈𝐈: Few balanced mixed-race individuals with a predominantly Dinaric or Western component; furthermore, mixed-race individuals with an Eastern or East Baltic influence.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐕: Completely unbalanced mixed-race individuals. Pure Eastern or East Baltic. People of non-European descent. People of foreign blood. People with hereditary diseases. People whose appearance is unacceptable."

The NSDAP was Nordicist, they viewed Slavs as racially Eastern and favored a Nordic racial body. They rejected Slavs who were not Nordic and wanted to colonize all of Eastern Europe to Germanize some of them and expel the rest to Siberia (Generalplan Ost).
