Title: Emotion(al) Labour in Foreign Language Education. Research and Practice.

This edited volume explores the emotions of foreign language teachers and learners in different countries and contexts (primary, secondary, tertiary, private language schools and one-to-one teaching; offline and online formats; intercultural contexts). It aims to provide new insights into the lived experience of all those involved in the educational process and to show what influences EFL/ESL teachers’ emotions, especially in the context of social unrest and neo-liberal challenges.

Tentative Timeline
● Submission of chapter proposals: April 30th, 2025
● Notification of accepted chapter proposals: May 15th, 2025
● Submission of full manuscripts: September 1st, 2025
● Continuous chapter reviews: September 1st, 2025 through December, 1st, 2025
● Book submitted to the publisher: January-February, 2026
