🍃🌻Good morning 🌻🍃
Perhaps Du‘a al-Nudbah is one of the most powerful awakenings from our deep heedlessness.
🌼 It asks a question that should trouble the heart of every believer:
“How painful it is for me to see creation, while you cannot be seen.”
📌How painful is it that we see people around us every day, yet so rarely feel the absence of our master, our Imam, and the Proof of Allah upon His earth, Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance)?
📌How often does the thought of him cross our minds?
📌In the morning, at night, in the middle of our daily affairs?
📌When do we truly grieve for his absence and the long separation from his presence?
📌How much does he occupy a place in our gatherings, our conversations, and our private thoughts?
📌Have we ever felt that he is closer to us than those we love most—closer than our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, or children?
📌Does not the beloved occupy the heart and mind of the one who loves?
📌Does not a person who has lost someone feel the weight of that absence, remembering them with longing and sorrow?
📌Then why is our remembrance of our Imam so faint?
📌Why does his absence not shake our hearts more deeply?
📌With what words could we apologize to you, O our Master?
📌With what kind of hearts could we turn toward you?
💥 I hesitate even to say:
“May my father, mother, family, wealth, and children be sacrificed for you, O son of the Messenger of Allah,” lest my words become a claim my actions cannot bear.
🌸 If I truly offered all of this for you, why would I not offer something far less than these worldly attachments—my time, my attention, my sincere remembrance, my prayers?
🌼 How immense is our loss, and how heedless we have become.
🌺 May we receive even one glance of mercy from our Imam that brings our hearts back to life—one glance that teaches us never again to forget his remembrance, never to place anyone closer to our hearts than him, and never to let a day pass without longing for his reappearance.
💫 And let our morning prayer echo the supplication of the time of occultation:
“O Allah, do not make us forget his remembrance, his awaiting, our faith in him, the strength of our certainty in his reappearance, our supplication for him, and our sending blessings upon him.”
🌻 May our mornings begin with his remembrance, our days with hope for his reappearance, and our hearts with a love that is proven not merely by words, but by faithfulness.
