🚨 EIGHT OFFENDERS CUT OFF ANKLE MONITORS

WA Police launched multiple manhunts after eight alleged offenders removed their court-ordered ankle monitors over a 48-hour period, with the Police Union estimating around 48 officers were diverted to the searches.

Seven have since been located, but Jeremy Miller, 40, remains on the run after allegedly cutting off his device in Midland.

🚨 MASKED THUGS STORM MELBOURNE YOUTH CLINIC

Four people wearing balaclavas and surgical masks allegedly forced their way into the Parkville Youth Mental Health clinic in Sunshine while searching for a specific person.

Police say two members of the group pulled out machetes and assaulted two 19-year-old patients before fleeing. Neither victim was physically injured, while some staff are now being relocated or told to work off-site over safety concerns.

🚨 AUSTRALIA SUES TELEGRAM

Australia’s eSafety Commissioner has taken Telegram to Federal Court, accusing the platform of failing to remove videos of terrorist executions and mass shootings after users reported them.

Court documents allege 10 of 12 reported posts remained online, while the accounts responsible were not suspended or blocked. Telegram could be fined up to A$54.6 million, equivalent to around US$38 million.

👀 MAN ARRESTED AT SYDNEY AIRPORT OVER $20M MANSION FIREBOMBING

A 21-year-old man has been arrested before boarding an international flight over the alleged firebombing of Geedup founder Jake “Paco” Catley’s waterfront mansion in Burraneer.

Police allege three men targeted the property in June and left behind a message demanding payment of debts. Catley and his daughter were inside at the time but were not injured.

🚨 AFRICAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED $18M NDIS FRAUD

A 39-year-old African woman and former Northern Territory public servant has been charged over an alleged scheme that funnelled vulnerable people into an NDIS business she co-owned.

Authorities allege the provider claimed more than $28 million in NDIS funding since 2019, with around $18 million identified as suspicious or fraudulent. She is accused of conspiring with Nigerian man Kingsley Ebelebe, who was charged earlier this year.

👀 TEEN STABBED DURING BRUTAL GROUP ATTACK IN SYDNEY

A 17-year-old boy underwent surgery after allegedly being pinned to the ground, punched, kicked and stabbed during a group attack on King Street in Newtown early Saturday morning.

Police allege the teen and an 18-year-old man were involved in an affray with three unknown males before the stabbing. Two knives were recovered from the scene, and the three suspects remain on the run.

Daniel Toutounji, 37, an alleged former senior Comanchero bikie, was arrested at Sydney Airport after arriving on a flight from Berlin.

Police allege he fled Australia in 2018 after officers seized 1kg of cocaine, almost $95,000 in cash and multiple firearms during a raid in Randwick. He was refused bail after being charged with multiple drug and organised crime offences.

🚨 DRILL RAPPER PLEADS GUILTY TO MANSLAUGHTER OVER FATAL STABBING

Sydney drill rapper Jacob Tammer-Spence, who performs as Snoee Badman, has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 32-year-old local footy player Sitaleki Filihiahekava.

Tammer-Spence was originally charged with murder over the fatal stabbing outside a Guzman y Gomez in Marrickville in September 2024, but will now be sentenced in August after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter.

Queensland Police say scammers have stolen more than $1.47 million in just five days by mailing personalised phishing letters containing QR codes to victims.

The letters direct recipients to fake cryptocurrency websites designed to steal wallet seed phrases or trick users into approving malicious transactions, allowing scammers to drain their funds.
