Jacinta Allan has resigned as Premier after losing the support of the Labor caucus, ending her leadership after 1,036 days in office.
Ben Carroll has been elected unopposed as her replacement and says his first act as Premier will be to establish a royal commission into corruption in Victoria's building industry.
