Timer-based IP rotation: why we recommend setting the interval at least 15% longer than the visit duration

The goal is to make IP rotation look natural to anti-fraud systems.

A single user visit should appear as a complete session:
▪️ landed on the site;
▪️ spent a few minutes browsing;
▪️ finished the session;
▪️ and only then the IP changed.

That's why we recommend:
✅ rotating IPs via a link – after the task is completed;
✅ or setting timer-based rotation with at least a +15% buffer above the average visit duration.

Example: if the average visit lasts 10 minutes, set the rotation interval to 11.5–12 minutes.

⚠️ If the IP changes too frequently (especially within a single session), it looks unnatural to search engines and anti-bot systems – and increases the risk of detection.
