🇻🇳🇩🇰 Pandora Opens Vietnam Mega Factory
Danish jewellery maker Pandora on Thursday opened a US$150 million factory in Ho Chi Minh City, its largest manufacturing site and first production base outside Thailand. The facility is Pandora’s fourth globally, can produce up to 60 million pieces annually, and is expected to employ 7,000 workers when fully operational.
Pandora said the Vietnam plant will lift total manufacturing capacity by about 50%, with output initially accounting for around 15% of global capacity and rising to one-third by 2030. The move supports supply-chain diversification for a company that sold 112 million pieces in 2025 and had previously concentrated all production in Thailand.
The factory will serve Pandora’s global business rather than specific export markets and will support expansion in platinum-plated jewellery alongside silver. The site operates on renewable electricity, has LEED Gold certification, and will use recycled silver and gold.
