Meta Connect 2026. Here's what stood out.

▫️The headline announcement - VR glasses that weigh just 100 grams. The trick: the processor and battery live in a separate puck about the size of a deck of cards, sitting in your pocket and connected to the glasses by a cable. 5K display, Dolby Vision and Atmos support, the first VR device with IMAX certification.

But the interesting part - you can plug the glasses into a computer and type on a virtual keyboard right on your desk. On WhatsApp and Zoom calls, you show up as a hologram.

Price: $1,300. Launch: spring 2027.

▫️Ray-Ban Meta Audio - just music, calls, and a voice assistant, no optics, no camera at all. Looks like a direct response to all the noise around glasses with hidden cameras.

▫️The regular camera-equipped Ray-Ban Meta got an upgrade too: thinner build, longer battery life, six microphones instead of the old setup, noise cancellation that's nearly total. New shapes joined the lineup — Aviator and cat-eye.

And an unexpected twist - the glasses can now work as a hearing booster. Not a replacement for an actual hearing aid, more like noise suppression in a crowded place.

At the very end, Zuckerberg showed off Muse Charm, a keychain-sized device. Screen, mic, fingerprint sensor.

He said it packs "the whole Muse experience - including real-time voice and avatar - into something that fits on a keychain." Barely any details so far, more promised later.

The bigger picture: Meta is investing in AI and spatial technology as its core direction for years to come. AI and spatial computing are becoming not a separate product, but a layer over everything you wear.
