The shameless hypocritical tech giants have suddenly called to slow down the development of AI because of their "concern" that they are losing their control over AI. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei recently published an essay where he argued that the pace of "scaling frontier" models must be reduced.

These barefaced lunatics developing AI only start to ring the warning bells when the technology slips their grip. These people are not driven by any desire to benefit humanity, it is a game of power. The idea that technology can be controlled and regulated is suicidally lazy and cheap excuse when something goes downhill.
