🇱🇾 Libya's military seizes narcotics after firefight with smugglers

Libya's military said on Friday that one of its brigades seized more than 1.3 million narcotic pills after a firefight with smugglers in a town in the southeast of the country. The military said three soldiers were injured in the clash.

The seizure highlights ongoing smuggling activity in southern and southeastern Libya, areas that have long been used as transit routes for illicit trafficking.
