🇷🇺 🇨🇳 Eight countries conclude Center-2026 military exercises in Russia

Troops from eight countries concluded joint military exercises in Russia on 4 October after coordinated ground and air operations, according to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV. The Center-2026 strategic exercise began on Monday in Russia’s Chelyabinsk region and involved Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan and Tajikistan.

President Vladimir Putin attended the drills on 3 October in the Ural Mountains and said Center-2026 involved 47,000 troops training to repel an attack at 11 firing ranges and in the Caspian Sea. He said about 6,000 troops from Russia and other countries took part in the final phase at the Chebarkul training ground.
