AI-powered features have become a critical part of the GitLab platform, and as such we are planning a series of targeted AI experiments to transform security workflows. To best support this initiative, we are excited to announce a strategic shift for the Compliance group. They will pause major projects and temporarily pivot to focus exclusively on AI experimentation initiatives for the Security section. We would like to thank the whole Compliance group for enthusiastically embracing this effort.
