Most work never gets posted because it feels too small to bother with, or you're not sure how to explain it. Here are five jobs that are easy to hand over, and how to write each one in three lines.
1. A logo
For a new brand, a side project, a rebrand you've delayed for a year.
2. A translation
Your site, your app, or a single page into another language, done by a human who speaks it.
3. Short videos from long footage
You have podcasts, webinars or raw clips. Someone cuts them into vertical shorts with captions.
4. A landing page
One page that explains your offer and collects signups. Design, build, or both.
5. A list of leads
A clean spreadsheet of companies and contacts that match your ideal customer.
Write it in three lines:
What you need in one sentence
What "done" looks like: the files, the format, the quantity
Your budget and your deadline
Example:
❌ "Need a logo for my business."
✅ "Logo for a small coffee shop, warm and simple, not corporate. 3 concepts, 2 rounds of edits, final files in SVG and PNG. $150, needed within 2 weeks."
The second one gets applications from people who actually read it, and you can compare them. The first one gets "hi, interested" from everyone.
One rule that saves you time: write what "done" means. Not "make it nice", but "3 concepts, SVG files". Everything else gets sorted in the chat.
About your money: you deposit the amount into escrow, and it stays there while the work happens. The freelancer only gets paid when you approve. Our fee is 5% on top of the job price, and the freelancer keeps 100% of what you agreed.
🤍 Open Workaby and post it. Three lines is enough.
