Light pollution is, objectively, yet another consequence of industrial technology forcibly dragging people out of their natural habitats and putting them into artificial walled cities - rat utopias with everything you could ever want and nothing that you actually need.

Subjectively, the death of the night sky presents a sort of final cutting of ties with the natural world. Before the advent of electricity, every single person on Earth, no matter the continent or the millennium, could marvel at the sight of the very same Milky Way. Well, not anymore. So it goes.

Even if (and this is quite a stretch) technology somehow progresses in a way that reduces light pollution enough for the night sky to be "revived", the bigger picture still stands. If we keep going like this, technology will sooner or later sever every connection between humanity and wild Nature.

Don't let it happen.

The EU has passed a law that will make it so you are constantly monitored in your very own car. To lower car accidents, of course.

The EU has stated that it WON'T use the cameras for identifying people with biometric data. But at this point, can we trust anyone to keep a promise like this?

The treasure trove of personal data on the internet was always supposedly "only for practical purposes," but we know full well it is being used by intelligence agencies to find and profile "extremists" in advance. It's completely reasonable to expect that the same thing will happen again.

At any rate, whatever happens will not be a rational, conscious collective decision by humanity. Technocrats, businessmen and politicians (who are "steering the wheel") all follow the same playbook of technological progress and maximum efficiency. If we are to preserve our privacy, autonomy and dignity, we must seriously question the industrial technology that forms the basis of society.

Today, three years ago, Theodore John Kaczynski sadly passed away at the age of 81 in his cell. He may be gone, but it is up to us to build the anti-tech movement. Despite his actions, his writings remain to be some of the only works that give a serious answer to the problem of industrial technology. For that, he must be remembered.

There is still much to be done, technology continues to enroach over our green earth, wrecking ecosystems and enslaving humanity. We must have faith. We are only in the early stages. A great revolution is brewing!

"Never lose hope, be persistent and stubborn and never give up. There are many instances in history where apparent losers suddenly turn out to be winners unexpectedly, so you should never conclude all hope is lost." (-Ted Kaczynski).

Rest easy, Uncle Ted. 🕊️

"...Interestingly, Leo also explicitly condemns attempts to use AI and related technologies for transhuman endeavours: “humanity – in all its grandeur and woundedness – must never be replaced or surpassed."

This is particularly remarkable as it is highly unusual that a public figure of his holiness’ stature explicitly rejects transhumanism.

Nevertheless, it is important to not overstate Leo’s position. Although he obviously dislikes AI [...] the Pope states that “[w]e can embrace the technological progress that alleviates suffering and unlocks new possibilities, provided that we do not abandon the very essence of our humanity, namely the capacity for relationship and love.”

"Some of you may die, but that is a sacrifice I'm willing to make."

Technocrats like Altman don't care the slightest bit about human freedom, wild Nature, or any other facet of life on Earth.

At the core, what they really care about is gaslighting you to see natural freedom as "barbarous" and civilized comfort as "enlightened."

Don't fall for it.

US law enforcement has recognized anti-tech ideology as a threat to the system, and they're now working with SITE (a private intelligence company) to spy on online spaces just like this one. For our own good, of course.

If you thought COINTELPRO was bad, Palantir-sponsored AI surveillance will be even worse for anyone trying to practice their freedom of speech for anything other than the most toothless reformist takes.

Get ready. The fire is rising. Join Wilderness Front.

May 22nd, 2026 marks 84 years since the birth of Тhеоdоrе Јоhn Касzуnѕkі (aka the Unаbоmbеr). Despite his actions, his texts stand out as some of the only works that give a serious answer to the biggest question of modernity: the problem of industrial technology.

The last ~3 years of AI developments have vindicated his ideas: industrial tech cannot be rationally controlled or reformed. It changes society without anyone's consent or approval. The techno-industrial system doesn't care about nature, beauty, tradition, equality or any other virtues, but only about efficiency.

It's about time people took Теd's warnings to heart. Read his Manifesto: www.wildernessfront.com/the-manifesto.

A 40 000 acres data center in Utah has been approved unanimously by the Box Elder County. Public demands for the Stratos project to be cancelled have been denied. The project itself produces 2x the electricity Utah currently uses.

The techno-industrial system does not care about human life or any other life which it can't control. Industrial tech is not just a tool; it is leading us towards almost certain catastrophe.

"...throughout my time here, I've repeatedly seen how hard it is to truly let our values govern our actions..."
- Mrinank Sharma, Ex-Safety Lead of Anthropic

People keep wondering why greed always wins over virtue, but Ted already explained it: technological society forces us into an endless game of "natural" selection, where only the most ruthless reach the top.

How do we break the cycle? Break the industrial technology that's at the core of it all.

Read Ted.

Most if not all early civilizations' religions upheld the concept of a simple, natural life as an ideal. Modern society's rejection of these virtues goes to show how technology isolates man from Nature and everything else that matters in life.

Are you aware of any other examples of religious texts that fit into the anti-tech, pro-wilderness worldview?

The White House has said that access to glyphosate - a literal carcinogenic chemical - is a matter of "national security".

If this is the kind of "security" technocrats offer us, what even is the point of living in a technological society?

Теd К was right.

Protests show just how resilient modern society is to rational control. No amount of protests has succeeded in changing the basis of society, because that basis is ultimately determined by technology.

A revolutionary movement can only truly transform society if it changes the level of technological progress. And if that movement values wild Nature and human freedom, it ought to fight against industrialism, not for it.

If you also value wild nature and human freedom and want to help fight for it, join us today.

And no, switching out your new phone for an old one will not fix your life. The problems of industrial society run much, much deeper than that.

The reason Gen Z sees life as unsatisfying and pointless is because it is. A life in an artificial environment isolated from wild Nature can never be truly satisfying, no matter how comfortable you might find it.

All of us who are stuck in industrial civilization aren't really living: we're merely existing. Life can be found only in wild nature, the environment we evolved for.

We must return to it by any means necessary. Looking for solutions? Visit wildernessfront.com🌲

“In the 17th, 18th century, the Antichrist would have been [...] a scientist who did all this sort of evil crazy science [...] In the 21st century, the Antichrist is a Luddite who wants to stop all science. It’s someone like Greta or Eliezer,” he said, referring to Thunberg and Eliezer Yudkowsky, a prominent critic of the tech industry’s approach to AI.”

It's beyond hilarious that Peter Thiel thinks Greta Thunberg is a Luddite. But it tells us something about the nature of technocrats and technophiles like him.

Artificial intelligence has only been in the public sphere for a mere three years and it is *already* ruining people.

"By making it about individual corporate judgment, [Sam Altman of OpenAI] hides the fact that most harms are structural: in the case of AI, the platforms are designed to maximize engagement, extract data, and achieve efficiency. These features are determined in large part by competitive pressures and natural selection among rival AI companies that must competing for power to survive. It's literally baked into the whole ecosystem of a society with AI tools.

Nuclear energy supporters are not different from other techno-optimists and technophiles: they're betting on successful rational control where history has shown it to be tenuous at best. Chernobyl stands as a reminder of industrial tech's inherent unpredictability and uncontrollability.

The fact of the matter is that all "green" energy tries to hide that industry has to extract from Nature to exist in the first place. If you don't oppose industrial technology, what kind of environmentalist are you, even?

Almost every national government in the world claims to be 'democratic', and yet people have never had this little control over their own lives. To blame certain groups, or even certain ideologies, is far-sighted and has gotten us nowhere. History has shown that the technological infrastructure of industrial society inevitably leads to stratification and inequality, among countless other societal issues.
