🇷🇺In Russia, a drone protection system with spikes has been patented for the Courier robotic system.

The removable device is designed to be mounted on the upper part of the robotic system and attached with bolted connections to designated mounting points. It consists of a welded frame made of square-section tubes.

Holes are drilled into the tubes at specific intervals, into which bundles of diverging spikes are installed using bolt connections.

When an FPV drone interacts with the bundles of diverging spikes, the munition detonates.

The destructive effects of the explosion are then concentrated on the spike bundle and the frame of the additional armor at a significant distance from the protected robotic system itself.

Thus, by ensuring the detonation point occurs away from the surface of the protected object, the effectiveness of protecting the robotic system is increased.

3 March 1969, The only tank battle of the entire Vietnam War took place between North Vietnamese and American tanks.

At night, eight PT-76B amphibious tanks, supported by armored personnel carriers, attacked the U.S. Special Forces camp at Ben Het Camp.

American intelligence had been aware of the planned attack in advance, and the camp’s garrison was reinforced with a platoon of M48A3 Patton tanks from the 69th Armor Regiment.

During the battle, one PT-76 was destroyed by a mine, and two more were knocked out by fire from the M48 tanks.

U.S. losses amounted to one tank.

🔹 27 February 1965 -The An-22 “Antey” made its first flight.

• A total of 69 aircraft were serially produced, including two used for structural testing.

• Work on the aircraft began in 1960. The development was led by Deputy Chief Designer O. Bilolipetsky. During the design phase, the aircraft was given the code name “Product 100.”

• In 1961, a full-scale mock-up of the aircraft was presented. Three years later, the first two aircraft were built. They were tested and already prepared for operational use.

• In 1964, “Product 100” officially received its name — An-22 “Antey.”

• Under this name, the aircraft entered world aviation history.

On February 26, 1955, the SU-100P self-propelled gun was officially adopted into service.

Following military trials, the self-propelled artillery system was accepted into service with the Soviet Army by a decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on February 26, 1955, under the designation SU-100P.

A batch of 14 SU-100P vehicles was produced at the Y.M. Sverdlov Transport Engineering Plant (UZTM).

Based on the SU-100P self-propelled artillery system and its components, several armored vehicles were later developed, including:

• Armored vehicles for the 2K11 “Krug” surface-to-air missile system.

• Experimental open self-propelled guns SU-152P and SU-152G.

• The fully armored self-propelled gun SU-152 “Object 120”.

• The “Yenisei” self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (Object 119).

• The “Object 112” armored personnel carrier.

• The “Object 117” self-propelled searchlight system.

🇷🇺In Russia, another variant of the (HRTC) ‘Courier 2.0’ has been patented.

However, systems in this configuration have already been entering service with the Russian Armed Forces since the autumn of last year.

All of these are private developments, all state (within the framework of the state defense order) robotic system developments in Russia turned out to be a corrupt soap bubble of the ‘best in the world minister of defense’ and are not used anywhere, the still ‘unmatched’ Uran-9 got lost in the sands of Syria.
