New York Rep. Tom Suozzi, usually called a moderate, said his biggest goal in politics right now is to legalize 7, 8, 9, or 10 million people already in the country, so they can’t be deported.

If that passes, deportation is off the table for them. They stay, they work legally, and housing, schools, and hospitals count them for good.

The reward for getting here without papers is papers. If you love that plan, house the next crowd at your place. Don’t bring them into mine.
