VOID CHAIN
2026 07/16 Thursday

Prove the Compliance Value of Hash Certificates
Every piece of enterprise data uploaded to the blockchain generates a unique, tamper-proof hash certificate. It records the entire operation history and transfer process, providing legally compliant and legally recognized evidence.

No third-party intermediary verification is required. It can be used directly for judicial evidence, regulatory audits, and commercial dispute resolution. Data authenticity is verified quickly, audit procedures are simplified, and the challenges of enterprise evidence collection and complex verification are eliminated.

Quick one worth stepping out to read:

We just dropped a breakdown of VoidChain's Proof-of-Trust consensus on X, and it goes deeper than the usual "here's our consensus mechanism" post.
The core argument: PoW and PoS were built for specific threat models that no longer reflect how blockchain networks actually operate today. Neither was designed for AI agents as major network participants. Neither was designed for sub-second finality in real-world applications. Neither had behavioral scoring as a security primitive.
PoT combines three things, AI-audited validator behavior, time-based staking, and probabilistic finality, and the trust score is what ties all three together. It's not just a different consensus model. It's a different definition of what "trustworthy validator" even means.
The piece also doesn't shy away from the honest part: PoT has a dependency PoW and PoS don't. More components, more complexity. Whether that tradeoff is worth it is worth thinking through.

Go read it and tell us what you think 👇

The VoidChain network is essentially a trust network, with the blockchain serving as its internal brain or central nervous system. It can also be simply understood as a natively built-in database. This upgrades the traditional centralized, single-point control of the information world to network and contract-based authorized control, making it possible for everything to securely connect to the trust network as edge devices, achieving a holistic upgrade in information security.

Many IoT security still runs on a broken assumption: connect first, authenticate later.

Devices carry pre-provisioned certs or hardcoded keys with no runtime verification. Once a key leaks or a rootkit gets in, attackers forge legitimate device identity, and firewalls at the perimeter don't stop lateral movement once that perimeter is breached.

VoidChain's pure-software Root of Trust (S-RoT), built on the "Randomness + Double White-Box Iterative Judgment-Free" algorithm from the Hu Zhishui team, flips this: trusted at boot, not trusted on connect.

How it works:
• The Hypervisor hash-measures BIOS, kernel, and loaded modules at startup to generate a unique Runtime Fingerprint
• That fingerprint calculation is itself encoded via double white-box techniques, no static features to reverse-engineer or bypass
• Any tampering at the software level changes the fingerprint, and the node gets rejected by the network automatically

No TPM. No secure element. No dedicated hardware. Just general-purpose x86/ARM devices reaching security levels that used to require specialized chips, while removing the supply chain risk that comes with depending on hardware trust anchors.

Combined with the closed-loop Vacuum Network (devices are network-layer invisible, no public listening ports, no scanning, no probing), this is the foundation of native IoT trust we've been building toward.

Wallet architecture update: we're splitting custody from infrastructure

Big design commitment from the team, official update just dropped.
The short version: Edge Trust Machines are losing their wallet functions entirely. No more mnemonic storage, no signing UI, none of it. By end of 2026 they'll do exactly two things,
🔹 Run the Vacuum Network's encrypted tunnel (device ↔ mainnet, invisible to the public internet)
🔹 Handle device fingerprint attestation for PoT consensus (boot-time hash, runtime fingerprinting, Space ID admission)
That's it. Signing gets fully delegated to whatever wallet you already use.

Why this matters: edge devices acting as key custodians is a single point of failure waiting to happen. Splitting the function out removes that risk at the architecture level instead of patching around it.

Two things ship alongside this:
Cross-Metaspace bridge gets a standard adaptation layer for third-party wallets in Q4, manage TC, RWA tokens, and settlement credentials from wallets you're already using, no proprietary client needed. The bridge only passes hashes/credentials, your custody setup stays untouched.

The full-chain multi-asset wallet goes 100% open source on GitHub by Dec 31, 2026.

"Zero private key custody, protocol-native trust", not just a tagline, this is what building toward it actually looks like.

Security Advisory: Wallet Account Login Protection

Recent reports indicate a surge in bulk scanning attacks targeting digital wallets, causing temporary login failures for many users. We would like to bring the following to your attention:

I. Cause of the Issue
Hackers are using automated tools to probe accounts in bulk. By analyzing login error messages to identify valid accounts and exhausting the daily limit of five login attempts, they are causing account holders to be temporarily locked out.

⚠️ Please rest assured that the assets within your wallet remain secure and are not at risk of theft.

II. Security Upgrades
Optimized login error messages, All login errors now display a generic "Account or password verification failed" message to prevent hackers from enumerating valid accounts.
IP-based risk control, Implemented malicious access blocking mechanisms, while retaining security logs to trace attack activities.

III. Solutions
Re-import your account using your original mnemonic phrase and change your account name to a more complex one (combining uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols); avoid using simple identifiers like mobile numbers or QQ IDs.
Set a strong login password to reduce the risk of brute-force attacks. Account + Password (increased complexity) to prevent enumeration attacks.
Note: Wallet functions will be decoupled later this year, with support for integration with familiar third-party wallets, no dedicated client installation required.

Dear VoidChain users: To resolve the occasional login issues affecting some accounts as quickly and completely as possible, we will be performing an unscheduled maintenance restart of the wallet service today.

During this period, some users may experience login failures or connection interruptions. If you encounter this, please wait a few minutes and try again; the service should then be restored.

We understand that stability is the foundation of trust, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this maintenance may cause. We will release an official announcement as soon as the issue is completely resolved.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Quick but important one from the Foundation today.

We're seeing more third-party projects pop up around VoidChain, which is great — that's the point of open infrastructure. But it also means we need to be clear about something: the Foundation and Core Dev Team don't build, fund, or endorse ecosystem projects. No DApps, no DeFi protocols, no NFT drops, no GameFi, no token launches, outside of the official wallet, none of that comes from us.

Our focus stays narrow on purpose: Vacuum-Isolated Metaspace architecture, PoT consensus, the AI-Managed Trust Network, cross-metaspace comms, and keeping the mainnet secure and maintained. That's the job. That's the whole job.
So if a project says it's "officially built," "co-developed," or "endorsed" by VoidChain, it isn't, unless it's coming directly from this channel or voidchain.net. Anyone building on VoidChain is doing so independently, and they're responsible for their own compliance, risk disclosure, and communication with users.
We want VoidChain to stay open. We also want it to stay trustworthy. Misusing the name or logo to imply an affiliation that doesn't exist isn't something we'll let slide, the Foundation will act on it, legally and within the community.
Appreciate everyone who's been building in good faith and holding this space to a real standard. That's what keeps this credible.

There's a question that doesn't get asked enough in Web3 security discussions:

At what point in the process is AI actually doing the work?
Most projects using AI for blockchain security fall into one of two buckets:
Fraud detection, AI that watches transactions and flags suspicious ones. Useful, but reactive. By the time the flag goes up, the transaction has already executed. Funds have already moved.

Smart contract auditing, AI that reviews code before it goes on-chain. Also useful, but bounded. It can only catch what it's been trained to recognize, and it stops at deployment. Whatever happens at runtime is outside its scope.

VoidChain's AI-NR (AI Network Robot) sits in a third position that most architectures don't have at all, runtime.

It's not auditing code before deployment. It's not analyzing transactions after the fact. It's embedded in the protocol itself, making trust decisions in real time, before operations execute. Signing authority gets refused if a request deviates from an established trust profile. Access control is based on current behavioral state, not static credentials.
The honest part of VoidChain's own breakdown of this: it doesn't make the other approaches obsolete. Pre-deployment audits still matter. Post-hoc analysis still matters. But neither of them covers what happens during execution, and that's the gap the AI-NR is actually filling.
Most current security architectures don't have a runtime layer. That's the point.

Something different dropped from the VoidChain team today, not a product update, not a token announcement.

An open letter. Addressed directly to the global cybersecurity engineering community.
Written by Hu Zhishui, it lays out a fairly bold argument: that the entire foundation of digital trust, TPM chips, CA certificates, hardware-based security, has two problems it can never fully escape. External control, and cost. And that's exactly why IoT security has stayed broken at scale.
The alternative they've built is a pure-software trust root. No dedicated hardware. Trust established through algorithms alone. The claim is that this matches or beats hardware-based solutions on performance, while bringing the cost of device-level security down to near-zero.
What makes this letter interesting is the tone. It's not a whitepaper. It's not marketing. It reads like someone who has already built and deployed the thing (it's live on VoidChain mainnet) and is now genuinely asking the engineering world: Is this worth your attention?
That's a different kind of move.
Full letter + the two technical documents are linked on the site if you want to go deeper.

Most IoT security is built on the wrong foundation.
Patch after deployment. Static certificates. Hardware lock-in. Cloud dependency. You're always one step behind the attack.
VoidChain flips the model entirely.
Instead of bolting security on after the fact, VoidChain builds it into the kernel itself — native immunity from the moment a device ships. Here's what that actually means in practice:
The core shift:
— Security starts at the kernel, not the network
— Trust is dynamic whitebox fingerprinting, not preset keys
— Devices join via PoT behavioral consensus, not static credentials
— The network is invisible — no public IP, no scannable surface
— Zero hardware cost increase. Zero BOM addition.
Against every major alternative:
ARM PSA gives you hardware root of trust. VoidChain adds the dynamic trust layer on top — cross-device attestation that PSA can't do alone.
Azure Sphere locks you into Microsoft's cloud. VoidChain runs vacuum network + trusted space with no cloud dependency and full spatial isolation.
Alibaba Cloud IoT pushes policy down from the cloud. VoidChain builds immunity up from the device.
Huawei LiteOS is solid for new hardware deployments. VoidChain handles the retrofits — existing devices, sovereign control, decentralized trust.
The four operational layers:
Custom System → Static Meta-Space → Device Onboarding → Runtime
Each device gets a kernel fingerprint locked on entry, joins a verified vacuum network space, and communicates only with authenticated peers. Anomalous nodes are auto-isolated.
The result: Full autonomous IoT management. Zero hardware upgrades. Zero vendor intervention. Zero attack surface exposure.
That's not a security product. That's a paradigm shift.
