Wallet architecture update: we're splitting custody from infrastructure

Big design commitment from the team, official update just dropped.
The short version: Edge Trust Machines are losing their wallet functions entirely. No more mnemonic storage, no signing UI, none of it. By end of 2026 they'll do exactly two things,
🔹 Run the Vacuum Network's encrypted tunnel (device ↔ mainnet, invisible to the public internet)
🔹 Handle device fingerprint attestation for PoT consensus (boot-time hash, runtime fingerprinting, Space ID admission)
That's it. Signing gets fully delegated to whatever wallet you already use.

Why this matters: edge devices acting as key custodians is a single point of failure waiting to happen. Splitting the function out removes that risk at the architecture level instead of patching around it.

Two things ship alongside this:
Cross-Metaspace bridge gets a standard adaptation layer for third-party wallets in Q4, manage TC, RWA tokens, and settlement credentials from wallets you're already using, no proprietary client needed. The bridge only passes hashes/credentials, your custody setup stays untouched.

The full-chain multi-asset wallet goes 100% open source on GitHub by Dec 31, 2026.
