Meanwhile on Yemen's western coast:

"A message to our countrymen who sold the homeland. And pledged themselves to Saudi and American hands.

Return to the homeland. You will have security... If they refuse, the sword of truth will cut them down."

An American oil tanker, operating between the Gulf of Mexico and Asia, was offered $29.5 million for a single voyage. This equates to $15 per barrel, excluding the risk premium associated with the war. At an oil price of $100, every seventh dollar now goes towards shipping costs, rather than the oil itself.

🇮🇷 An impromptu mural has appeared on a wall in Tehran's Revolution Street. It reads:

We ask our Yemeni brothers to not respond to any [attempts at] contact from Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and continue with their work.
With Thanks

**We've already informed you folks that the Pezeshkian administration, including FM Araghchi made concerted efforts to contact Ansarallah on September 9, without success. The Iranian leadership has reportedly told Pezeshkian to stop interfering.

• Oman postpones Gulf summit on Hormuz — The Salalah meeting set for Monday was pushed back "in the interests of consensus"; Tehran said the delay came at some countries' request by joint Iranian-Omani decision. Qatar's foreign minister opened calls with Saudi, Jordanian, Kuwaiti and Omani counterparts on de-escalation.

• NYT: Iranian hardliners sabotaged July deal with US — Officials told the paper a faction tied to ex-IRGC intelligence chief Hossein Taeb ordered the July 7 attacks on three ships without Pezeshkian's or commander Vahidi's knowledge; Tehran's leadership is split between talks and escalation.

• Yemeni missiles pound Saudi air bases as Yanbu stocks dwindle — Yemen's forces struck King Khalid base, the launchpad for strikes on Yemen, and satellite imagery confirmed a destroyed jet hangar at King Fahd base. Reuters: only 5-7 days of export stocks remain at Yanbu, with repairs needing 5-6 weeks — 4% of world supply at risk.

• MBS asks Israel for help against Yemen — Israel Hayom says the Saudi crown prince messaged via Washington: help us in the war. Israeli security services reportedly won't intervene unless attacked; Pakistan's PM merely condemned the attacks despite the Mecca defense pact.

• Trump speaks after ship strike, floats seizing Iranian oil — He declined to say whether the US hit the Iranian vessel, claimed the war ends before or after the midterms, and didn't rule out controlling Iranian oil as in Venezuela. CENTCOM says 101 merchant ships have been rerouted.

• Fully loaded tanker ablaze in Hormuz; Brent tops $107 — UKMTO said the missile-struck, Panama-flagged tanker is now severely burning; Brent futures jumped $3 on the new shipping attacks.

• Katz declares Ali al-Taher a "safe zone" as Israel pulls back — Israel's war minister said anyone approaching the Lebanese heights "will be destroyed," though Israeli media report a limited withdrawal toward Shqif Castle.

• Drone hits train carrying Boris Johnson near Poland — Spiegel reports European officials and a top adviser to Germany's chancellor were aboard the train, which was evacuated after the attack on the return from Ukraine.

• Trump tells Zelensky to stop striking Russian fuel — He warned the attacks cause global shortages as Kiev hit the Zaporozhye plant's training center with over 10 drones.

• Syria: fuel protests cut Aleppo-Damascus highway — Demonstrations spread over price hikes and a bomb exploded outside an Orthodox church in Hama, while Turkey's Fidan pitched Syria as a Hormuz bypass to Europe.

🇵🇸🇱🇧 BRICS has issued some of its strongest collective language yet on Palestine and Lebanon in the new New Delhi Declaration.

On Palestine, BRICS explicitly rejects the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and warns against any political or security arrangement that could prejudice their “inalienable rights” or “legitimize or prolong occupation” (Board of Peace).

The bloc reaffirms the Palestinian right to self-determination and the right of return, supports Palestine becoming a full member of the United Nations, and calls for an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, encompassing Gaza and the West Bank, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

BRICS also rejects “any attempt at temporary or permanent forced displacement” of Palestinians and any effort to alter Gaza’s territory or demographic composition.

Perhaps most significantly, the declaration states plainly:

“We reiterate that international law and international judicial bodies demand the end of the illegal occupation.”

The declaration condemns starvation as a method of warfare, attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, and restrictions on humanitarian assistance. It reiterates support for UNRWA and references the proceedings before the International Court of Justice concerning Israel’s obligations under the Genocide Convention.

On Lebanon, the language is equally direct.

BRICS condemns continued violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and ceasefire arrangements and explicitly calls Israeli troops remaining on Lebanese territory “occupying forces.”

“We call on Israel to respect the terms agreed with the Lebanese government and to withdraw its occupying forces from all of the Lebanese territories, in which they remain.”

BRICS also reiterates its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, backs UNIFIL and condemns attacks against UN peacekeepers and their facilities.

This is significant because it isn’t simply a statement from Russia, Iran, China or another individual member.

This is consensus language adopted by BRICS as a bloc in New Delhi rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians, demanding an end to the “illegal occupation,” reaffirming Palestinian statehood with East Jerusalem as its capital, and explicitly demanding that Israel withdraw its “occupying forces” from Lebanon.

⚡️Two Majors #Overview #Summary for the morning of September 13, 2026

Starts above

▪️The negotiation process, meanwhile, has finally separated from the front-line reports. The trips of Witkoff and Kushner first to Moscow and then to Kiev did not lead to an immediate agreement, but restored the American channel between the parties. Now, Kiev is announcing preparations to resume the three-way format of Russia - USA - Ukraine as early as October. That is why the current campaign of strikes potentially has a negotiating dimension. Not because someone will immediately sign an agreement after the destruction of another factory. But because the negotiating position of a state is determined not only by the line on the map, but also by the answer to the question: how much more can it endure in this mode and at what cost?

▪️ Europe understands this perfectly and is accelerating preparations. Germany, after the August incident with drones at the Leipzig/Halle airport, announced preparations for a broad "anti-sabotage shield." It is planned to create rapidly deployable police units to combat drones, expand the powers of critical infrastructure facilities to counter UAVs, and create a national "cyber dome."

Officially, all of this is called protection against sabotage and hybrid threats. Russia denies any involvement in the German incidents. However, this does not change the practical result: Germany is building an internal security system designed to operate in conditions of military confrontation. This is even more evident with Volkswagen. The VW plant in Osnabrück will be the first major German car factory to be transferred to a defense configuration. The first project will be the production of air defense systems and components in cooperation with the Israeli company Rafael. The conversion of cars for military purposes is also being considered.

At the same time, Germany has announced the urgent transfer of additional Patriot missiles from its own stockpiles to Ukraine, and Kiev has reported the formation of a long-term order for approximately 1,000 Patriot missiles with the support of its allies. Most of these missiles will not be produced tomorrow, but the very scale of the order indicates the European planning horizon for the war.

✨ Thus, the past week has provided the clearest answer to the question of what is really changing the course of the war today: the ability to systematically destroy the economic, logistical, energy, and information infrastructure of the enemy, and at the same time protect one's own.

🇮🇷❌️🇺🇸 When the Patriot PAC-3 couldn't handle it:

During the last Iranian strike on a US Airbase in Jordan, the THAAD batteries in Israel had to help out.

The rare, high-end THAAD may have been used to counter more advanced missiles of the salvo, like Kheybar Shekan-2.

Also, the Iranian use of cluster warheads during the strikes begins to make sense.

Question is: How did the Iranians know that the THAAD batteries in the Occupied Palestine were going to be involved?
