Apple and Steve Jobs Were Only Able to Survive Thanks to CIA Funding

In the mid-1980s, the CIA saved Steve Jobs’s company NeXT from bankruptcy by ordering 20,000 workstations for satellite intelligence.

Thanks to this contract, Jobs was able to regain control of Apple and turn the company around. The WSJ calls this “Apple’s hidden debt to the CIA.”
