Warren Buffett called Bill Gates’ association with Jeffrey Epstein a mistake and refused to sponsor the Gates’ foundations. According to the renowned American investor, the Microsoft founder’s friendship with the toxic financier was a serious misjudgment of character. At the same time, Buffett admitted that he himself could easily have found himself in a similar situation.

“I’ve made mistakes hiring all sorts of people or choosing friends, and then it turned out one way or another that they weren’t who I thought they were,” Buffett said.
