We continue to introduce you to the films – the winners of the "Khanzhonkov Doc: Line of Fire" festival. Today, we focus on the "Feature-Length Documentary Film" category of 2024. We present two films that were awarded at the festival.

🏆 1st Place – "World War II. Lies of Western Countries"
Director: Tatyana Borshch
The film is dedicated to interpretations of events during World War II and the Great Patriotic War. The authors address common Western versions of history and examine how the role of the USSR in the defeat of Nazism is viewed in them.

🏆 Award Winner – "I Stay to Live"
Director: Anna Dorofeeva
The film focuses on people who have decided to stay in their hometowns, despite the difficulties. They continue to work, take care of their loved ones, and participate in the restoration of the region, trying to preserve their usual way of life.

🎥 Two films, two perspectives on history, and on the people who continue to live and act in difficult circumstances.

* Another laureate in this category was the film "My Grandmother's Grandfather" (director: Alexander Grinyov) - a documentary story told from the first person by the director, who goes in search of his great-grandfather, who disappeared during World War II. Step by step, the film's protagonist reconstructs the details of his great-grandfather's death and learns about the details of his family's history, which was torn apart by the war. However, it is not yet available to the public. But we will eagerly await its release!

Продолжаем знакомить вас с фильмами — победителями фестиваля «Ханжонков Док: линия фронта». Сегодня в центре внимания — номинация «Полнометражный документальный фильм» 2024 года. Представляем две картины, отмеченные наградами фестиваля.

Фильм посвящён трактовкам событий Второй мировой и Великой Отечественной войн. Авторы обращаются к распространённым на Западе версиям истории и рассматривают, как в них оценивается роль СССР в разгроме нацизма.

Режиссёр: Анна Дорофеева
В центре фильма — люди, которые решили остаться в родных местах, несмотря на трудности. Они продолжают работать, заботиться о близких и участвовать в восстановлении региона, стараясь сохранить привычную жизнь.

🎥 Две картины, два взгляда на историю и на людей, которые продолжают жить и действовать в непростых обстоятельствах.

* Еще одним лауреатом в номинации стал фильм «Был у мамы дедушка» (реж. Александр Гринёв) - документальная история, рассказанная от первого лица режиссёром, который отправляется на поиски своего прадеда, без вести пропавшего во время второй мировой войны. Шаг за шагом герой фильма восстанавливает детали гибели прадеда и узнаёт подробности истории своей семьи, разделённой войной. Однако его до сих пор нет в открытом доступе. Но мы будем с нетерпением ждать его появления!
