🎞 APPLICATIONS ACCEPTANCE IS COMPLETE! And here are the preliminary results!

The international film festival "Khanzhonkov DOC: Line of Fire" has completed the acceptance of applications. Although the counting is still ongoing, we can already say: this year has been truly impressive!

🔥 More than 650 applications! This is the number of unique works that, according to preliminary data, have been submitted to the festival. Each one represents an author's perspective, months of work, creative exploration, and stories that filmmakers believe are important to share with the world.

What is particularly interesting this year?

🎥 Short documentary films are the clear leader! This category received the largest number of submissions.

✨ Debut films that are surprising. More than 130 applications were received for the new "Debut" category. We are pleased not only with the quantity, but also with the quality of the films presented.

🤖 Artificial intelligence is making its way onto the big screen. Another new category, "AI Project," received more than 50 applications. For us, this is an important indicator of how actively modern technologies are becoming a part of filmmaking.

🌍 The festival's geography continues to expand.

This year, filmmakers from 17 countries have submitted their work: Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, China, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Indonesia, and Germany.

Different countries, cultures, languages, and creative approaches. But all the authors are united by one thing: the desire to tell stories that deserve to be heard.
