Next month, we'll send out the fourth and final airdrop on October 10. If you've already claimed and been confirmed, there is no further action needed from you.

Because getting the direction right is only part of the trade.

Two things can still decide the result: your strike and your expiry.

🔹 Strike/Breakeven Price — the price level your trade is measured against.

Example:
BTC is at $60,000 and you placed a trade betting that Options will go up with a $62,000 strike.
BTC can go up to $61,500 — and you were right about the direction — but it still did not reach your strike.

🔹 Expiry — the time your trade ends.

Example:
You think BTC will rise this week, but choose a 1-day expiry.
BTC rises on Day 3, exactly as you expected — but your trade already ended on Day 1.

That’s how you can be right about the market, but wrong about the trade.

Getting these two things clear helps you choose a trade that actually matches your market view — instead of losing because of the wrong strike or expiry.

Tradoor now loads 50% FASTER, and works brilliantly on older mobile phones!

These changes are part of the ongoing Mini App and website restructure project, with the goal of making Tradoor feel faster, lighter and more responsive:

🔹 Bloat removed — we've slashed hundreds of lines of code making computation much faster

Victims Fund Update #3: GOOD NEWS 😇

All eligible claimants have now been contacted, reviewed, and processed.

The third distribution started today, on 10 September, and most people have already received their airdrop in their wallets.

This time, we've set aside $19,132 for 100+ community members.

📢 The fourth and final distribution is scheduled for 10 October.

Our development team is hard at work making improvements across the platform:

2️⃣ Airdrip Returns on September 15

Yes, its true! Batch 3 of the airdrip will restart in 2 weeks.

We know lots of community members have been asking about this, and we're thankful for your patience.

3️⃣ Staking Victim Fund Review Almost Complete

We are quickly reviewing all remaining submitted claims relating to the third-party staking platform that illegally used the Tradoor name.

Submissions are now closed.

The remaining approved Victim Fund payments will be distributed across two final batches:
🔹 Batch 3 — Thursday, 10th September
🔹 Batch 4 — Saturday, 10th October

DEV UPDATES 002 | Mini App Fixes & Reviews

This week, the dev team focused on cleaning up several Options and Telegram Mini App issues while continuing a broader performance review of Tradoor on TON.

Here’s what the dev team worked through:

🔹 Fixed an incorrect “Insufficient Balance” error during Options trades

🔹 Fixed incorrect profit displays in the Telegram Mini App

🔹 Corrected Options trade history and profit labels in the Telegram Mini App

🔹 Fixed an issue causing users to be automatically logged out after successfully connecting their Telegram Wallet

🔹 Continued the Tradoor on TON performance review across both the website and Mini App

Following on from previous announcements, we received a large number of submissions, including many duplicates. Reviewing and checking them will take time.

We want to be clear: this third-party staking platform was not operated, controlled, or promoted by Tradoor.

Tradoor is not compensating anyone, but has instead set up a victim's fund for genuine community members from our own treasury.

Any compensation from Tradoor is a goodwill gesture, not something we are required to provide.

We want to help where we can, but we also need to protect Tradoor’s future and prioritise ongoing development and restructuring.

Submitting a claim does not guarantee acceptance. We will share another update once the review is complete.

Although you won't be able to open new positions on Perps right now, our Options product is unaffected and you can happily trade as normal there.

What are we working on for the remainder of August?

Our internal restructuring is nearly complete. With our new CTO leading product and technology, our attention is returning to where it needs to be: building a better Tradoor platform.

Here is what we are working on:

Our main priority is to clean up the Tradoor platform for Perps and standard Options on TON:

A lot of this week was spent on making Tradoor more reliable under the hood.

Here’s what the dev team worked through:

🔹 Improved Options and Turbo Mode on-chain trade execution, including “Index Price Expired” and incorrect “Insufficient Balance” errors

🔹 Fixed failed on-chain trades continuing to appear in Positions and Trade History

🔹 Addressed intermittent wallet connection issues across the website and Telegram Bot

🔹 Fixed an issue preventing liquidity providers from withdrawing from the V3 Pool

🔹 Corrected the misleading 100% profit display on flat trades

🔹 Built out frontend and backend CI + automated testing to catch problems earlier

If you bought a BTC options contract on July 1, 2024 expecting the price to rise, you could have walked away with a profit, or lost everything.

What made the difference? 🧐

Bitcoin started July 2024 at around $62.7k. Within the first week, it fell to around $53.7k before recovering later in the month.

📆 If you chose a 7-day duration

Your trade would have expired while Bitcoin was still trading near its lows. You would have lost the premium you paid to open the trade.

📆 If you chose a 90-day duration

Your trade would have stayed open. When it expired, Bitcoin had recovered above your entry price, so your CALL option would have profited.

The takeaway

Options trades do not get liquidated before expiry. What matters is where the market is when your trade expires.

That's why choosing the right duration can be just as important as choosing the right direction.
