Corporate White Collar jobs are going to women as of late because women are more intimidated and less likely to report things, ask for higher wages, do what they're told etc. (double bonus for these desired corporate outcomes if they're not White). All while White men are getting rejected from these roles as statistics show currently.

They brag about the "reshoring of industrial jobs!". Except this is mostly going to Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana where you're lucky if you make $15/hr while suffering in poverty. Because Southern Gulf States labor is becoming cheaper than beaner labor in Mexico. Outside these states? It's all hyper automated with aims for "lights off operations" (AKA no human workers allowed).

It's such a fucking joke. This isn't to say there aren't great opportunities for White men out there. There absolutely are, but it's becoming harder and harder on purpose unless you know what you're doing. Meanwhile they mock you and demonize you while they kick you down.

While not a new phenomenon, the recent gas price issue is a great example of why democracy is a flawed system.

The gas price increases are not a good thing, but if you do the math on how long Americans commute and drive daily, how efficient their cars are, etc., these prices are costing people $50 or so a month extra on average. This is an insignificant amount of money.

While we are aware of the fact that fuel and energy price increases raise various production, shipping, and end-product costs, this is not typically well understood or a major talking point among the average voter. The average voter sees gas is up $1 and will emotionally vote against the establishment candidate, despite the opposition having done something similar a few years prior. A common tactic in most democratic countries is for incumbent parties to artificially suppress things like prices in order to perform better, as they are aware of this behavior.

The average person simply does not have the long-sighted political understanding to be trusted to guide policies in a country. Any system built on this is doomed to fail.
