Catch and release from the sewer

A guy with a federal arrest warrant gets released by a New York judge, then ICE ends up grabbing him after he literally comes out of a sewer — you cannot script a better metaphor for urban governance than this little masterpiece. The joke isn’t even the “mole man” part; it’s that the system keeps treating border enforcement like bad manners while expecting normal people to pretend this is compassion instead of sabotage with a court calendar.
