TECH NEWS | TINY ROBOTS CAN NOW FLY USING SOUND

Scientists at EPFL have created tiny robots that can move and even fly without motors.

Instead, they use ultrasonic sound waves. Hollow chambers inside the robots resonate with sound and generate enough thrust to move them — researchers believe the technology could eventually be useful for extremely small machines and even biomedical devices.
