Swedes could become a minority in Sweden within 20 years, according to the Institute for Remigration. It estimates that 36.8% of the country’s population currently has a migration background.

The institute predicts that Germany could reach a similar demographic threshold by 2045, Belgium by 2044 and France by 2050. Switzerland would allegedly experience the change first, by 2038.
