TECH NEWS | ALBERTA SWITCHES ON ITS LARGEST BATTERY

Northland Power has launched Jurassic BESS, Alberta’s largest battery storage facility. Its 39 battery packs can deliver 80 MW for two hours.

The system stores surplus electricity and releases it during peak demand, helping stabilize the grid and support more renewable energy.
