🇮🇱 Poll: Gadi Eisenkot Leads Netanyahu 43%–38% Ahead of Israeli Elections

Former Israeli army chief Gadi Eisenkot leads Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the preferred candidate for prime minister, according to a poll published by Israel’s public broadcaster KAN.

The survey projects 22 seats for Eisenkot’s Yashar party, compared with 20 for Netanyahu’s Likud in the 120-seat Knesset. Netanyahu’s political bloc is projected to win 53 seats, short of the 61 needed for a parliamentary majority.

The poll also found that 30% of respondents remain undecided, while 21% are considering not voting. The results suggest that forming a governing coalition could remain challenging after the October 27 election.
