🇧🇫🪙 MAJOR UPDATE: Burkina Faso opens first gold refinery

Burkina Faso has opened its first gold refinery as the West African country seeks greater control over its gold industry and local processing. The refinery has an annual capacity of 164 tonnes, with plans to eventually increase it to 515 tonnes.
