🚔 Police received a call at 12:45 a.m. about three suspicious vehicles traveling toward RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

🔒 Armed officers arrested five men – initially under the Explosives Act, then on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist act.

💣 The British Army's explosives team is examining the vehicles. A major incident was declared.

🏘️ 85 households evacuated as a precaution. A 400m cordon is in place.

🛡️ Counter Terrorism Policing is now leading the investigation.
