◾️ "The Israeli occupation continues to keep the Rafah land crossing closed for the second consecutive week, preventing the evacuation of patients and wounded people for treatment abroad."

◾️ "These practices are an extension of a series of grave violations of international humanitarian law and a deliberate denial of patients’ and wounded people’s fundamental right to medical treatment."

◾️ "The Ministry of Health warns of the consequences of this closure, which has led to a dangerous and rapidly growing backlog of critical cases. Waiting lists are growing by the day, far exceeding the capacity of Gaza’s devastated and besieged hospitals to accommodate patients or provide even the minimum level of medical care."

◾️ "The ministry calls on all relevant parties to exert serious and urgent pressure on the Israeli occupation to open the Rafah crossing and all other crossings, and facilitate the departure of critical medical cases to save as many lives as possible."
